Construction of a large concert hall

Building
An iconic project on the French cultural scene, the Philharmonie de Paris brought together a large number of stakeholders to deliver a facility spanning nearly 20,000 m², centred around a 2,400-seat concert hall. Designed by Jean Nouvel, the building meets the highest international standards in acoustics and architecture.
To support the coordination of this particularly complex project, the teams relied on the Mezzoteam platform. Centralised document management, real-time information sharing and traceability of communications helped streamline collaboration between the many stakeholders throughout the construction process.
Inaugurated on 14 January 2015, the Philharmonie de Paris is now an example of a project demonstrating the value of a Common Data Environment (CDE) for managing operations involving a wide range of stakeholders.
The project brought together the Philharmonie de Paris as client, AMO Delporte-Aumond-Laigneau, Setec Organisation, Bureau Veritas, Altia Acoustique and Kahle Acoustics; the project management team led by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, with Métra & Associés; engineering consultancies Egis, Nagata Acoustics, Marshall Day, Studio DAP and HDA/Arcora; as well as the consortium of contractors led by Bouygues Bâtiment Île-de-France.
