Construction of the first tramway line

Transport and Infrastructure
The construction of Liège’s first tramway line was one of the largest mobility infrastructure projects in Belgium. This 12 km strategic route, connecting Sclessin to Coronmeuse and serving 21 stations, has significantly transformed travel across the Liège metropolitan area.
The project brought together numerous stakeholders around complex operations, including the creation of bus-tram interchanges, park-and-ride facilities, a maintenance and stabling centre, traction substations and operational buildings, as well as major urban development works.
To support this large-scale project, the Tram’Ardent consortium relied on Mezzoteam to centralise documents, structure communications and facilitate coordination between all stakeholders. The Mezzoteam platform provided reliable, shared information throughout the project, helping to ensure effective management of design studies, construction works and document monitoring.
