Construction of T1 and T2 lines

Transport and Infrastructure
The construction of the Le Mans tramway marked a major milestone in the development of the metropolitan area's mobility. Commissioned in 2007, the network now includes two lines (T1 and T2) serving the main hubs of the metropolitan area via a shared section of seven stations. Operated by SETRAM, it now carries over 40,000 passengers every day, contributing sustainably to the development of urban mobility in the region.
Completed within a controlled timeframe and at a particularly competitive cost—302 million euros for 15.4 km of track—this project is often cited as a benchmark for cost management in a French tramway network.
To support the management of this operation, the project teams chose the Mezzoteam platform to centralize communications, secure processes, ensure information traceability, and facilitate coordination between the various project stakeholders throughout the infrastructure's construction.
"This integrated solution proved to be quite flexible to use and could be configured according to the criteria required by our project organization. As a result, it quickly became the common denominator for all information transmission and a primary driver of our decision-making processes."
