Building restoration and rehabilitation of the Grand Commun

Building
The Grand Versailles program was one of the most significant heritage restoration projects ever undertaken in France. Launched to renovate the Palace of Versailles and its entire estate, this exceptionally large-scale project mobilized numerous stakeholders over several years to carry out complex work on both the palace and its grounds.
In this demanding context, the EMOC (Public Establishment for the Project Management of Cultural Works), acting as the delegated project owner, selected Mezzoteam to manage documentation and facilitate collaboration among all project participants.
The platform centralized technical documents, streamlined communication between teams, and ensured complete traceability of information throughout the operations. By using a single, shared document repository, the various stakeholders were able to collaborate more effectively while ensuring version control and data security.
One of the program's flagship operations was the rehabilitation of the Grand Commun, a 23,000 m² building located in the immediate vicinity of the Palace, 14,000 m² of which underwent renovation. This project illustrates Mezzoteam's ability to meet the challenges of document coordination and project management for large-scale heritage sites.
