Construction of the T1 and T2 lines

Transport and Infrastructure
The Besançon tramway is a flagship urban mobility project led by Grand Besançon Métropole to connect the metropolitan area from west to east. Completed between 2010 and 2014, this network of two lines, covering 14.5 km with 31 stations, is currently operated by Besançon Mobilités (Keolis Group).
Throughout the project, the teams relied on the Mezzoteam platform to centralize documents, facilitate communication between the various stakeholders, and ensure shared monitoring of the operation.
Inaugurated on August 30, 2014, and entering service in September 2014, the Besançon tramway has become a benchmark for cost control, recognized as the "least expensive tramway per kilometer in France."
