Algiers Metro

Line 1 extension and expansion

Transport and Infrastructure

About the project

To support the extension of the Algiers Metro Line 1, Mezzoteam was deployed across extensions A, B, and C, confirming its role as the go-to collaborative platform for managing major infrastructure projects.

‍

The project included a 1.7 km northern extension with 2 new stations located in the heart of the old city, as well as a 3.6 km southern extension featuring 3 new stations. Led by Colas Rail in partnership with Kou.G.C, this large-scale project covered track work, power supply systems, ventilation, smoke extraction, low-voltage systems, ticketing, and overall coordination and system integration.

‍

In a context involving teams and partners spread across several countries, Mezzoteam made it possible to centralize documents, structure validation processes, and ensure complete traceability of exchanges and decisions. The platform facilitated coordination between all stakeholders while ensuring rigorous information management throughout the project.
